The perception of what a simple number means translates into frustration for many women, because a size 18 FITS DIFFERENTLY on someone 5’6 than someone 5’10; and without standards a size 18 is CUT DIFFERENTLY by each designer.  It’s just a number that’s all.  The number attached to your clothing is just a marker for who ever that specific designer is and what THEY think it means.

Ladies, can I have your attention PLEASE?
THERE ARE NO STANDARDS FOR WOMEN’S CLOTHING!!! I REPEAT THERE ARE NO STANDARDS!!!

And what standards were created decades ago were based of an entirely different set of parameters.  Guys have it easier as most of their clothes are based of actual measurements – their inseam, the size of their necks etc…  We unfortunately don’t have that luxury.  Know that clothes are about FIT and not the number we struggle with on a daily basis.  Its about looking and feeling good in the skin you’re in highlighted by the clothes you wear.

Honor Your Size.  Honor Your Shape.  HONOR YOU!
